According to Flower Robotics, the Polaris system — which was unveiled in Tokyo today — is designed to learn the user’s lifestyle by collecting data, analyzing behavior, and identifying trends. The robot keeps a database of information accumulated through the handset, such as the user’s daily travel and walking habits, calls and email messages sent and received, and online transactions. Using this data, Polaris learns to predict the user’s behavior and offer relevant advice and information.

I still can’t see this as a gem? come on, did any of their designers has taken figure drawing? are women’s body that angular? are gem angles and facets that freakin big to be a gem! it is a transformer! it looks like i can imagine it to turn into a little robot any minute!
Quick note, when studying a woman’s body verses a man’s body, i notice that i draw women more like S curves and soft verse the more sharper curves of a males body. But then it is the symbol too, we (females) are represented by the circle and men by the square. so why do i get the feeling that this will do terrible for our female market. The only way they will sell it is the label. of course females are attracted to males with all these angles and such so maybe this will fly for females to be attracted to the masculine qualities of the phone. but then i have no problem with its angles and facets but all the composure of the phone hits rock bottom in terms of keeping the composition of the phone slick and neat.
Again they pushed it further to have the asymmetric look of the phone on top of a symmetry palette of the gem. the asymmetric comes from their location of the camera reader! I want it CENTERED ON something that is already symmetric! this is another problem with high end cloth line. they would make a great beautiful dress and then at the last minute put a button or bow or just something stupid on the corner of the dress to make me NOT TO BUY IT!
sorry i had to rant…. I do wish phones to look like gems, but they are purposely destroying future ideas of gem looking phones, like putting Palin as Vpresident candidate as the best female to represent that all women are her or wish to be like her.
seriously it is like transformer meets cellphone……. oh sony ericsson you are so random… the entire composure is just missed align…… from mistakes we learn better….

Dandella (think dandelion) is a GPS-like tracking device. Though it behaves more like a sunflower always point towards the sun, this device lights up & bends towards its direction or other dandella that it’s been synchronised with.
